Advertise, licence, or commission
31 analyses, 303 sourced figures and42 indexed instruments. Everything below is available to anyone who asks; nothing below changes what gets published.
What the money does not buy
This site has no advertising network and no third-party analytics, and that is stated on the privacy page as a fact about how readers are treated. The consequence is that conventional display advertising is not for sale here — an impression sold through a network is a tracking script, and the promise would become false the moment one loaded.
So the boundary comes first, because a rate card without it reads as an offer to influence the work:
- No advertising network, and no display inventory for sale. The privacy page promises no tracking scripts, and an impression sold through a network is a tracking script.
- No sponsored conclusions. A sponsor buys a question, not an answer.
- No sponsored placement inside the analysis. If a commercial relationship exists, it is declared in the piece, not woven into it.
- No exclusive access to a change. A rule change that moves your cost is published for everyone at the same time, because a reader being charged more than another reader for the same document defeats the point of the site.
What is for sale
Three things, all of them the same asset: a set of figures whose provenance can be checked.
Data licence
from $400 per dataset, one-off
The figure registry: 303 values, each with its unit, its period, the document that published it, and the date it was retrieved. Delivered as CSV and JSON. Includes the 42 instrument records with their citation metadata.
- Internal use, or republication with attribution
- Provenance travels with every row
- Redistribution as a competing dataset is not included
Sponsored research
from $1,800 per piece, declared
You name a question that a customs or trade change raises for your business, and it is answered to the same standard as everything else here: primary documents, shown arithmetic, and a How confident section that states what would make the conclusion wrong.
- The sponsor does not see the conclusion before publication
- A declaration appears on the piece, naming the sponsor
- The answer is published whatever it says
Correction and monitoring
from $250 per month
The documents behind a set of figures are re-read on a schedule, and you are told when one changes. This is the review clock the site already runs on itself, pointed at the classifications you ship under.
- You choose the tariff lines or instrument set
- Changes reported with the document and the date
- No exclusivity: the same monitoring is available to anyone
These rates are provisional. None has been tested against a buyer, and no agreement exists as of the date below. They are set by comparison with what trade-data subscriptions charge for figures with less provenance, not from a negotiation.
Why the data is worth paying for
A Chinese tariff, rebate or safeguard change is published in Chinese, on a ministry site, often as a table in a PDF, and the number that matters to you is one row of it. The value here is not the number — you can find the number. It is the four things attached to it: the unit, the period it applies to, the document that published it, and the date it was retrieved. Those four are what turn a figure into something you can put in a quotation without being wrong later.
That is also why the registry is checkable rather than asserted: every figure on this site links to the instrument page for its source document. See the 42 indexed instruments and how the sources work, including which ones cannot be read at all.
What cannot be licensed
The analyses themselves are free to read and licensed CC BY 4.0: republish them with attribution and a link, no permission needed and no fee. A licence buys the structured data and the work, not the right to read or reuse the writing.
How to start
Email hello@landedmath.com with the tariff lines, instrument set or question you have in mind. A reply comes with a scope and a fixed price before anything is agreed.
Published 2026-10-16. If a commercial relationship is ever agreed, it is declared on this page and on the work it touches.
